Help create a welcoming space where connection and community can thrive! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with room setup and cleanup for our Promoting CommUNITY events in the Kalapuya Community Room. This role plays an important part in bringing each event to life. Volunteers help prepare the space before guests arrive and ensure everything is left in great shape afterward. Tasks may include arranging tables and chairs (as directed), tidying and preparing the room, setting out food and beverages, organizing supplies and handouts, and assisting with post-event cleanup. It’s a fun, hands-on way to support meaningful community programming — and you’ll get to be part of the energy and excitement of each event while making a real difference behind the scenes.

This volunteer role takes place indoors in the Kalapuya Community Room. Responsibilities may include wiping and sanitizing tables, moving and rearranging tables and chairs (as directed), lifting and carrying light to moderate items such as supplies or refreshments, setting out food and beverages, and prolonged standing during setup and cleanup. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for light physical activity.
